Web Tek Computer Company, Inc. of Ephrata PA is currently seeking a lead web designer for a permanent full time position within our company. The ideal candidate will posses a wide range of abilities in all aspects of web design and development. Responsibilities of this position include designing new sites, coding compositions with clean CSS, taking ideas from concept to completion, updating existing sites, interjecting new ideas and concepts into everyday business practices, and playing a supportive role in other business activity as needed. Web Tek was established in 1998 and currently supports over 150 clients. This is an excellent opportunity to join a small, fast growing, profitable company and work directly with the President of the company in all aspects of web design and development.
Technical Skills Desired
• Design: Highly talented graphic designer
• Coding: Clean & Compliant hand-coded HTML & CSS
• Software: Proficient in CS3 - Photoshop, Fireworks, Flash, Dreamweaver
• Knowledge of web 2.0 practices and current web trends
• Working Knowledge of PHP, Javascript or Ajax is a plus
• Experience with e-commerce and shopping cart applications is a plus
